Wendy Holland, LMT, expands massage therapy services at MBSH

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital’s Sports Fitness & Rehab Center is thrilled to announce that Wendy Holland, LMT, is expanding her role as massage therapist.  She will be available for massage therapy on a full-time basis now.

Holland has been a licensed massage therapist for 16 years and has been with Sullivan Sports, Fitness & Rehab for 10 of those years.  She has developed a reputation as an excellent massage therapist with a loyal following.  Wendy’s therapeutic philosophy is that in order to help people feel better, be healthy and enjoy life, massage therapy should be completely individualized to the needs and wants of the client.

Holland outlines that there are hundreds of therapy styles and techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage and even pregnancy massage, but that often a client will require or desire a combination of styles.  Wendy’s approach is to pull from her wide base of education and experience to incorporate any techniques appropriate for her client.  Holland allows the client to guide the experience so that the client gets a completely tailored, individualized session.

With Holland’s full-time status, new day and evening massage hours will be offered.  A kickoff Valentine’s Day celebration will be offered on Saturday, February 15th from 8:00 AM to noon.  Regular weekday hours are Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and then every 2nd Saturday of the month from 8:00 AM to noon.  Massages are offered in ½ hour ($25), 45 minutes ($37.50), and 1 hour ($50) spans with a special bonus card for a free ½ hour after every 9 visits.  Sullivan Sports, Fitness & Rehab also offers the popular gift certificates that never expire.

To schedule an appointment with Wendy Holland, LMT, call Sullivan Sports, Fitness & Rehab at 573-468-1340 and start feeling better today.
