Quilt Raffle Winner Drawn
The Hospital Fund Raising Committee with the help of the Auxiliary and Karen Rohrer, sold hundreds of raffle tickets for a beautiful State Flower Quilt. The quilt was skillfully made by Mary Ruble of Sullivan several years ago. She was well known in the area for her many beautiful handmade quilts. Following her death, her family donated it to the Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital for fundraising. With the quilt being a patriotic State Flower Quilt, the date set for the drawing to take place was February 17, President’s Day. The lucky winner of the drawing was Dema Schatz of Bourbon, MO.
The Hospital Foundation wishes to thank the family of Mary Ruble for their generous donation of the beautiful State Flower quilt, and congratulates Dema Schatz for winning the raffle and supporting the hospital through this fund raiser. Numerous patients will benefit from its proceeds that will support equipment and services at the hospital.
