Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital Tobacco Free

No SmokingAs a health-care institution that focuses on improving well-being, Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is proud to be completely tobacco-free. The tobacco-free status applies to all Hospital buildings, physician offices, parking lots and sidewalks that make up the Hospital campus.

Smoking and tobacco use is clearly harmful to everyone's health. As health-care providers, we have an obligation to ensure our campuses are free from products that interfere with our mission of improving well-being. Our decision to go tobacco-free with other hospitals in our region -- including Phelps County Hospital -- demonstrates to our patients, employees, physicians and the community a commitment to healthier living.

The tobacco-free policy addresses cigarettes, cigars, pipes and smokeless tobacco; and patients, visitors, employees, physicians, students, contracted personnel, auxiliary volunteers, vendors and tenants.

Our goal is to provide the safest, most healthful environment possible for our patients, staff and visitors. Thank you for supporting our tobacco-free campus.

Sincerely,

Tony Schwarm
President
