MBSH Cancer Treatment Center benefits from Cooperative’s Charity Golf Tournament

MBSH Cancer Treatment Center benefits from Cooperative’s Charity Golf Tournament

Crawford Electric Cooperative, the local Touchstone Energy Cooperative held its 21st annual charity golf tournament on Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Sullivan Country Club.  Monies raised from the event were designated to benefit Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital’s Cancer Treatment Center and Crawford Electric’s Operation Round Up.

Through their fund raising efforts, Crawford Electric has provided four patient treatment stations in the Cancer Treatment Center as well as several pieces of medical equipment for Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital.  Most recently, they have given assistance directly to patients receiving care at the center.

Crawford Electric Cooperative employees came to the Cancer Treatment Center to present a check for $4,480 to assist patients at the center.  “We sincerely appreciate Crawford Electric’s generous support to the hospital through their annual charity tournament,” commented Lisa Lochner, MBSH Vice President of Operations.  “Their ongoing support has made a tremendous difference to the numerous individuals receiving care in our infusion center.”
