Matthew Miller was selected as the Employee of the Month for December.  He has been an employee at MBSH since 2020.  Matthew currently works as a Registered Medical Assistant in the Sullivan Medical Clinic.

First baby of 2023 arrives at MBSH

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital welcomed its first baby of the new year on January 2, 2023. Amirah Tan Abdullah, MD delivered Ezekiel Matthew Rohrer at 1:29 PM. Ezekiel weighed in at a healthy 8 pounds 0 ounces and was 20-1/2 inches long.  He was welcomed by his parents Mariana and Matt Rohrer and a sister at home.

2022 Marks the 16th Year of Jennings Family Providing Toys for Hospitalized Children

For 16 years, the Jennings family has been providing toys to children who are in the hospital over the holidays at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital. Each December, the family delivers the toys in hopes a gift will help relieve some of the stress and anxiety children often experience when in the hospital whether as a patient of while visiting a family member.

As 2022 comes to a close, the wound care team at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital (MBSH) is celebrating a year of healing, while encouraging patients to continue to ‘Heal Through the Holidays.’ Interruptions to daily routines are common during the holidays. Unfortunately, when it comes to healing wounds, increasing time between visits, can drastically slow the progression. In other words, don’t skip those wound care visits.
