Cancer Center:  Oncology & Infusion

Our Oncology/Infusion Center was modeled from an award-winning design to provide a comfortable atmosphere for both the patient and family. Each of our eight treatment areas creates a sense of privacy for the patient with the ability to socialize with other patients. There are two private treatment rooms available for patients who prefer privacy. Within each treatment station, there is a flat screen television, a bench and a chair for family, a closet to store personal belongings and a reclining chair for the patient. A kitchenette is available with a microwave, refrigerator, ice/water machine and coffee for our patients. A wall of windows lets in natural light and offers a view of our Healing Garden.

In addition to the multidisciplinary team of health-care professionals — including specially trained physicians, registered nurses, pastoral care, medical social workers and dietitians — who provide inpatient and outpatient oncology care for Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital patients, team members are joined by board-certified oncologists Jason Li, MD and Belial Firwana, MD from the Cancer Center at Missouri Baptist in St. Louis.
