Tony L. Schwarm, President

Tony Schwarm is president of Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital that provides health care services to residents from Crawford, Franklin and Washington counties. Since becoming president in 2005, Schwarm has overseen the complete rebuilding of the hospital, including a new emergency department, radiology department, medical/surgical intensive care unit, surgical department and obstetrics unit. The new hospital was completed in 2011.

Prior to joining BJC and Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, Schwarm served as president of Clay County Hospital in Flora, Ill., for seven years.

Schwarm received his BS in biology from Greenville College in Illinois, and an MBA from Southern Illinois University—Edwardsville.

Lisa L. Lochner, Vice President of Operations

Lisa Lochner is the Vice President of Operations at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, with responsibility for the hospital’s support departments, ancillary departments, medical staff, physician offices, marketing and the Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital Foundation. Since becoming assistant administrator in 1998, Lochner has overseen the complete rebuilding of the hospital, completed in 2011.

Prior to joining BJC in 1994 and Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, Lochner was the Human Resources Manager for Embassy Suites Hotel in Lombard, IL.

She received her BS in Consumer and Family Studies from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO, and an MBA from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Carmen J. Bartolotta, RN, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer

Carmen Bartolotta, RN is the Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer for Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital. She joined the hospital in April 1996 and worked in the medical/surgical unit, step down and intensive care unit, GI lab, surgery and recovery. She managed the inpatient nursing unit prior to taking her current position as CNO. Prior to that, she worked in the Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO in the medical/surgical and ICU units. She currently oversees the nursing units, EMS, Pharmacy, Housekeeping, Dietary, Materials, and Social Services.

Bartolotta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Maryville University, and currently holds a Master’s degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing.

Amy R. Wildhaber, Director of Compliance, Safety, Risk and Quality

Amy Wildhaber is the Director of Compliance, Safety, Risk and Quality at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital.  She will ensure the successful implementation of systems and processes which directly improve overall organization performance and compliance with BJC policies and applicable laws.  Amy will also oversee all patient safety, clinical quality improvement, infection prevention, accreditation, regulatory compliance initiatives and medical peer review meetings. 

Amy has held several positions at MBSH including staff nurse, service excellence coordinator, emergency room manager and manager of quality and compliance.  Amy is a BSN Registered Nurse with a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Chamberlain University.  She has been with MBSH since December 2001.

Kathleen M. Reed, Director of Human Resources for MBSH and Parkland Health Center

Kathleen Reed is director of Human Resources at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital (MBSH) and Parkland Health Center. MBSH has over 400 employees and the highest employee engagement scores for 2011 and 2012 within the BJC HealthCare system. Reed is responsible for all aspects of human resources, information systems, and community health and is the liaison for the MBSH auxiliary.

Prior to joining BJC and Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital in 2007, Reed held several positions in human resources within healthcare and transportation industries.

Reed previously has held a Professional in Human Resources certification and received her BS in organizational development from Maryville University.
