BTE PrimusRS Rehabilitation System
The Therapy & Wellness Center uses the BTE PrimusRS Rehabilitation System that allows therapists to address sports, workers' compensation and orthopedic rehabilitation, and hand therapy. It can be used for various task simulations by using sports and work attachments. The device employs advanced training concepts such as plyometrics, rhythmic stabilization, neuromuscular re-education, and eccentric work with isotonic, isometric and isokinetic resistance modes. The Primus also offers patients a unique opportunity to see muscles and body systems with 3D software.
Adults and children experiencing urge, stress or mixed urinary incontinence, bowel incontinence and minor pelvic organ prolapsed may benefit from our program.
The Center also provides lymphedema treatment to help manage swelling and/or pain related to venous insufficiency, cardiac edema, lymphedema, surgery, cancer or other conditions. Team members include a certified lymphedema therapist, speech language pathologist your physicians and other medical professionals. The Therapy & Wellness Center was recently certified by the National Lymphedema Network.

A good massage can help you feel better. When massage therapy is a part of a formal rehab plan - or when you're stressed and just want to relax - the licensed massage therapists (LMTs) at the Therapy & Wellness Center can combine the right touch and technique to help you feel comfortable. We also offer prenatal massage therapy by our massage therapists.
You feel better because massage can:
- Lower the production of Cortisol, the stress hormone, helping you relax and feel less tense
- Reduce swelling, spasms, stiffness, aches and pain
- Increase muscle flexibility
- Increase arm and leg mobility and range of motion
- Enhance cell and immune system functioning
Gift certificates are available for massages.
