Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital (MBSH) is pleased to welcome Rebecca M. Goodwillie, AGNP-C. She specalizes in orthopedics and sports medicine and joined Micah Hobbs, DO, an orthopedic surgeon, at his practice – Saint Louis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine where she sees patients. She has also been seeing patients at the Sullivan Specialty Clinic since the fall of 2020.
“I’m excited to work alongside Dr. Hobbs to help treat orthopedic patients in the Sullivan community,” said Goodwillie. “My experience working with patients at Missouri Baptist Medical Center for the last few years has prepared me for this role.”
Goodwillie practices general orthopedics, treating injuries and disorders of bones, joints, muscles and ligaments. Her practice has an emphasis on shoulders, knees, and fractures. She is certified as an adult-geriatric nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also licensed as a registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner in the state of Missouri.
Prior to her role at Saint Louis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Goodwillie worked as a registered nurse at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, where she cared for orthopedic, neurosurgery and spinal patients, including those with acute orthopedic injuries and fractures, herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, spinal injuries, degenerative joint disease, orthopedic infections, and post-operative patients. She also performed focused assessments, managed acute and post-operative pain, communicated abnormal assessment findings, initiated post-operative blood transfusions, and provided extensive pre-operative patient education.
Goodwillie earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Saint Louis University in the School of Nursing.
