Congratulations Tiffanie Alfermann, Our New Med/Surg Nurse Manager!

We are pleased to announce that Tiffanie Alfermann has accepted the position as Nurse Manager for Med/Surg/CCU.

Tiffanie worked as an emergency nurse and as a SANE nurse in the ED before coming to MBSH on our Med/Surg floor. Later, she worked as a charge nurse training new nurses and coordinating care on the unit through assignments, rounding with physicians and communicating with other departments.

In 2022 she became the assistant nurse manager, supervising and motivating high-quality performance from nursing staff. Tiffanie excels at performing real-time audits, case management, creating schedules for multiple shifts, looking for opportunities for process improvement and developing goals for the departments. We are lucky to have her as part of the MBSH team!
